The hotel is located on Belfast's "Golden Mile," beside the Grand Opera House and facing the Crown Bar (the National Trust's only public house property) – all in the heart of the main business and commercial district. Buses and trains will drop you off right next door to the hotel at Great Victoria Street Station. There is a 500 space multi-storey car park adjacent to the hotel, and valet parking is available for hotel residents.

Housed in an imposing building in the city centre, the Europa Hotel has played host to more international leaders than any other property in Belfast. It glass façade, with distinctive columnar entrance, look especially impressive when lit up at night. The lobby is grand yet also warm and welcoming, its marble pillars and luxurious sofas complemented by floral displays, Irish art on the walls and a fire crackling in the hearth. All 240 guestrooms feature flat screen digital TVs, mahogany furnishings, deliciously thick duvets, Ralph Lauren fabrics and Zoffany wall coverings. The bathrooms are exquisite with glass, chrome and ceramic finishes. Superior soundproofing ensures that every guest is guaranteed a good night’s sleep. The hotel offers a variety of dining options. Guests can enjoy delicious gourmet dishes in the Piano Bar Restaurant, where the menus provide a constant mixture of classical and modern European cuisine, infused to create eclectic and imaginative recipes, using fresh local produce. Situated on the first floor, with magnificent views over Great Victoria Street below, this venue is open for dinner 6 – 10 pm Monday – Thursday, and 6 – 11pm Friday and Saturday. For a more informal dining option, The Brasserie, on the ground floor, has a wide choice of menus available for both lunch and dinner, comprising of snacks, light meals, full meals and daily specials. The Brasserie is open 7 days a week for breakfast 6 – 11am , lunch 12.00 - 5.30pm, and Dinner 5.30 - 11pm (last orders at 10.30pm). Guests in a hurry can also grab a bite to eat in the ground floor Lobby Bar, which serves great pub grub all day.
***Currently the hotel lobby is undergoing some renovations, the hotel remains fully operational. The renovation is expected to be completed at the end of April 2008.***
