My scoring on 'service/staff' relates solely to 2 issues. Staff were SO vigilant with regard to payment/breakfast vouchers etc that I felt I must appear suspicious - have they been subjected to a lot of deceipt or what? I had to have my credit card swiped when I had my evening meal (no problem although I expected it to happen at check-in), then was told I wouldn't receive a copy of the TWO signed receipts until check-out. At check-out, I was asked to have it swiped again - is this not overkill - it added unnecessary time to my check-out.
The second issue was that one lift appeared not to be working although there was no notice to that effect. Once or twice, we were literally 'jammed' into the waiting area and had to wait TOO long. I also would query that their lifts can carry the number of passengers they specify. One final issue - why do 'smoking' bedrooms not have ashtrays?
